How long is the boat trip?
The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
Are pets permitted on the boat?
Yes, pets travel for free and are permitted on the outside passenger deck however they must be kept on a leash at all times. Your pet has the option of also staying in the comfort of your car for the duration of the voyage.
Where do I park my car in Burtonport?
There is a free car park in Burtonport as you arrive in the harbour.
Can I take a bicycle on the boat?
Yes, there is no additional charge for bicycles.
Do you accept the Free Travel Pass?
Yes we accept the Irish Free Travel Pass and the Northern Ireland Smart Pass.
How long do passengers need to be at the port prior to sailing?
Passengers need to be at the ferry 15 minutes prior to sailing.
Do you cater for passengers with reduced mobility & special needs?
Yes, whatever you need we will do our best to help make travel on our services as easy and comfortable as possible for passengers with reduced mobility and special needs.
How to book?

Can I smoke onboard?
Smoking is not permitted onboard the vessel.
What kind of vehicles can travel?
We carry all types of passenger vehicles. Please ensure that you book the correct vehicle size (including all details such as bicycle racks, tow bars roof racks) as we need to know the amount of space to set aside for you on the car deck. Motorbikes must be secured on board all the time.
Do you have WIFI onboard?
We are delighted to offer a free WiFi service onboard.
What if a sailing is cancelled?
Every effort is made to maintain advertised schedules however sailings are occasionally cancelled due to bad sea conditions, if this happens passengers are given the choice of rescheduling their trip or receiving a full refund.
What methods of payment are accepted?
Cash, Debit, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted in our office located in Burtonport.
Can I remain in my vehicle during the crossing?
No, safety regulations do not permit passengers to remain in their vehicles during the crossing. We provide both indoor and outdoor passenger decks.
Is there an outside deck?
Yes passengers can sit on the outside deck and enjoy the short crossing, while taking in the beautiful views. It is quite common to spot seals, birds and dolphins swimming alongside the ships.
Do you offer discounts for frequent travellers?
You can contact our office to discuss discounts which we currently have on offer.
How long would you typically spend on Arranmore Island for a day trip?
We recommend at least 3 hours to truly enjoy all that this beautiful island has to offer.
